2019 QX60 Bluetooth phone + audio??

Hi Folks - new to Infiniti and loving our new 2019 QX60 Luxe.

We have figured out how to connect our phones via Bluetooth, but I'm noticing that there is a difference between the phone connected for "phone" usage vs. phone connected for "audio" (streaming) usage. As of now, I have to go into settings and select my phone for phone, and then also separately select my phone for audio device. Is there a way to set it so that when my phone is "connected", it is set up to use my phone for calling as well as my phone for audio streaming - automatically?

On our previous vehicle, when we started the car, it would just automatically connect with whatever phone it found first that was highest in it's list of phones, and not only would it connect but it would connect for phone call usage AND audio streaming.

I hope I'm making sense. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I purchased a 2016 QX60 a few months ago and it is the same. It is a bit of a pain to have to do this. A few years back I had a 2015 Nissan Murano and it had pretty much the same entertainment system in it as memory serves me correctly. I don’t remember having this issue with it.

There should be. Mine automatically connects to my phone for both audio and phone. Take a look at your Manuel, it should explain the peculiarities of how to do it—I have a 2014 so yours may have some software differences. You could also take it by the dealer and your salesman should be able to show you how.
