Interior Bulb to LED Conversion Comparison [pics inside]

I decided to change out all the interior lights from the bulbs to new white LEDs. Also, I changed the one small bulb on the headlight to led. I know that many members have done this. I don't believe I seen any pics. So I took a few comparison shots for those that are thinking about it. In my opinion, the visibility is 30% better. Looks 100% better when walking to your car to unlock. And its a nice subtle upgrade to make the QX look like a luxurious Infiniti and not a Nissan (No offense to Nissan Owners).

BTW: Sorry I forgot to take pics of the dome and rear hatch lights.

Cost: $10 total

Looks good. I did the interior too and plates but would like to do the headlight one. How difficult was it to change the bulb near the headlight and what type of bulb did you actually get? Thanks.

The headlight was surprisingly the same bulb as the interior lights, size T10. It was simple to install. Just twist and pull out. Replace the bulb. I did not need to remove any plastic radiator covers. It was a tight squeeze on both sides. But was especially tight on the right passenger side. If you have huge hands it might be a problem.

Definitely doing this. Do you mind sharing exactly which bulbs you chose? There appear to be zillions of choices on Amazon and eBay. Thanks.

Most of them T10 5W5, Cargo -DE3175. But I'm not sure about Dome Lights. On actual bulb it says A12V 8WK but I can't find any info on a replacement LED's. Also if anyone knows what bulb is used for DRL's on Canadian QX60?

Turns out the manual has list of all interior lights and their numbers/codes. I did all my interiors, parking lights and license plate lights. Very easy. I'm about to do the front and rear signal bulbs and fog lights. Little worried about the fogs. Still hoping someone can post a how-to.

I don't have pictures, but it was easy to do for me. I've replaced both DRL and fog bulbs on my Canadian version by partially opening protective plastic inside front wheel well. I could squeeze one hand in the bamper hole and another behind the plastic that I opened.
