Nav Update 11 worth it?

I have a 2017 QX60 with 2016 maps. Just got the email to get version 11 for $109. Can't find any information on the extent of updates or even when v11 was released. Would it be worth updating?

Yes, I can use my phone but do like the convenience of the Nav if it's mostly up-to-date (which the 2016 is not at least for the region I am in).

Hum...I just got an offer to upgrade my Nav to version 10 for $129. Your offer is better—newer for less!

Depends where you live. Are there lots of new roads being built? Where I am, they almost never build anything. So definitely not worth it. If I'm stuck, I'll use my phone. And I only use my phone for POI stuff.

South Florida definitely gets a lot of construction so I'd consider a 2019 or 2020 map upgrade. But I'm waiting for the discounted price they were doing before that I missed by being stupid. I think it was $99? I'll wait!

It’s here but I only see version 11 for 2017 and newer. I emailed asking when it was released. https://infiniti.navigation.com/en_US/InfinitiNA/USD

I upgrade about every three years. I had the 2013 JX and now have the 2016 QX60. I upgraded last year and didn’t see any of the new roads or their revisions updated which was similar to the experience with the JX. I find Google mapping much more accurate.

After checking out the updated map at https://mapcreator.here.com/mapcreat...n_com_infiniti, linked from https://infiniti.navigation.com/cms/...InfinitiNA/USD, I decided to upgrade. There were enough changes that if the SD card I received today comes close to matching the online map, then it will be worthwhile for me.

Now, anyone know how long it takes to update the map from the SD? Do I need to plan a long drive?

$129 for 2013-15 v10 comes with DVD.
$109 for 2016-18 v11 comes with SD.

I'm curious to know why they're not releasing v11 on DVD.
